Violin, easy or hard?

Haii there, so this year I'm gonna join my school's orchestra ^^ and I'm gonna choose to play the violin. I haven't ever played and this will be my first year and only the 6th graders get beginning so I have to go into intermediate. I would appreciate it if you could explain to me the basics of a violin, if it's super hard or easy to learn. Oh and can you give some advice on how to read music notes?? I'm SUPER UBER excited and my parents might even buy me my own violin so I'm gonna try to learn during the summer so I won't be so behind and I can catch up to all the other people's knowledge. Can you also give me a good video in which I can learn how to play?? It would be releeee helpful and I would relee appreciate it! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
